Whispers from the Wren

I noticed the wrens with chatting with the finches today and I was reminded that just because you do not belong to the same group doesn't mean you can not have meaningful interactions.  Perhaps this could be parallel to just because we having varying perspectives and philosophies that doesn't mean we don't have something to gain from connecting with others who may seem a little disconnected from us.  Sometimes I feel a little disconnected from people who do I can not relate to but maybe I should give them a chance!
After listening to the playful tweeting of the wrens today I was moved to think about dealing with a not so perfect me.  I know I am a haphazard disorganised mess and I choose not to change my ways.  In the process I have messed things up in my professional and personal life.  What do you do with that realisation?  I guess I learn and move on.  I failed, but forgiving myself is the key.  We all make mistakes and recognising it is the only way we can be better.  The wrens have spoken,  "enough with the beating yourself up, you can come back from this."
I forgive me!

Yes, the wrens speak to me.
Today they asked - How long are you going to stay fat when you know there is something you can do about it :)?

I love taking my dog up through the hills of Brisbane State Forest and Mt Coot-ha hills and we meet the wrens along the way.

They always have messages to share and when I am ready to listen they share them.  I am using that as an analogy for what will be posted here.  If you need inspiration this will be where you find it.
